2007 has been another busy year for us. We enjoy having Troy and Drew
living back in Seattle and having the opportunity to spend more time with them.
However, they too have very busy lives. Andy keeps us busy with his school and
sports. With his baseball team we have followed him from Penticton Canada
(where his team won the Can-Am Classic) to Orlando, Florida
for 10 days (more information later).

Patsy spends time each day at her favorite hangout (LA Fitness) and keeping
Andy on track as to his school work and where he needs to be in his exceptionally
busy life. In addition to help market and assist in our photography business,
she volunteers with various organizations. This year she took charge of feeding
the Jackson High School Football team (about 75 guys)
every Thursday before their Friday games.

Bob continues to enjoy working from home. He is doing a lot more Senior Portraits
and really enjoys the time he spends with these kids as he
takes their pictures. He also has been Patsy's back up with many of her volunteer projects.

Our lives continue to be very busy but we are seeing a light and the end of the tunnel….
in other words we realize it won't be long before we will be empty nesters.
We plan to enjoy the last couple years of having Andy in the house, but also
look forward to having time to resume skiing, golfing and traveling and getting
reacquainted with our friends in the years to come

Troy

The beginning of 2007 found me assisting with fundraising and market
research at a Redmond based startup. It was an exciting and nerve
racking time but seed round funding did finally close in February.
At the same time I decided to take an offer with a downtown
boutique strategy consulting firm. I have been there since and
enjoy the variety though the stress level can run high.

Additionally, I took over as head of the Seattle chapter for the
London School of Economics alumni with the intention of revitalizing
the group - progress has been good. Also, I have been fortunate
with regards to travel this year, visiting Norway, London, Paris,
and Milan. It has been a roller coaster year for me in many ways and
I look forward to what 2008 brings.

This year has been a good year for me. I am still working as a synthetic
chemist at a surface molecular engineering company over in Redmond.
I have done fair amount of traveling this year. In May I went for
two and a half weeks over to the Philippines for vacation, to dive
and relax. I dove Japanese wrecks from World War II and experienced
the fine foods and culture that the Filipino people had to offer.
In addition to my travels a broad I have been fortunate enough to travel
to other cities around the United States that I have never been to.
I went to Boston in September for a conference and then over to
Nashville in October for another conference, this time one on beer.
Please don't be jealous, I had lots of fun but I swear I did not drink any beer :)

Now for more news about myself locally. I currently reside in a house in
Wedgwood just north of the University Village, a bit of a change up
from where I used to be living. I have two new additions to my life
this year, both women; one is hairier than the other. Don't worry I am
referring to my new dog Bea when I say hairier and not my new girlfriend
Michelle. Bea is a Swedish vallhund, hard to explain so you can google
it if you are curious. I brought her home in early June and she is almost
8 months now and full of energy!
Michelle picked me up in early June and we have been dating ever since,
which is very exciting for me.

Looking forward to what the new year brings me and I wish everyone that
reads this Happy Holidays and good health.
If you would like to contact me you can email me at drew.johansson@gmail.com
and I will be happy to answer any additional questions or just chat.......
I am really lonely, no one emails me......please I beg you, just one email!

2007 has been one heck of a year for me! In my Freshman year at
Jackson High School I earned a Varsity letter in Baseball. My Dow
Baseball Team out of Redmond finished in first Place for the regular Mickey Mantle
season at 17-2-1. We won four tournaments including the 2007 15U AAU
Division II National Championship in Orlando, Florida, beating the previously
undefeated Lake Eire (Ohio) Bulldogs 4 to 1. I pitched the first
half of the Championship Game that was played at Disney's Wide World
of Sports Complex at Disneyworld
(where the Atlanta Braves play their Spring Training games).

Over the summer I worked with two former University of Washington quarterbacks.
In the fall I was named the starting quarterback of Jackson's Varsity Football Team.
We won the first three games I started but some tough opponents and injuries
hurt us down the stretch. Our team was very young and I think we will
have a real good year in 2008.

I am now playing on Jackson's Varsity Basketball Team. This year I was also
invited to join the National Honor Society and just recently got my Driver's License.
